The Strobist group focuses on the use of small flashes off-camera. The ability to use small battery powered flashes without being connected to a power source gives us much more flexibility and mobility than heavier corded studio flash units.
The Strobist movement was started by Baltimore Sun photographer David Hobby. His website, Strobist.com was the start of the movement and is where we get much of our inspiration. Feel free to check out his site! You'll gain a whole new level of knowledge and hopefully,it will inspire you to take your photography to the next level.
We meet on the 4th Thursday of every month at 6:30pm. The location is ECPI 555 Greenwich Rd. Room 360 (off of Newtown Rd).
