Hello VBPC members!
It's an honor and pleasure to be able to serve you this year as your Special Events Coordinator. I have so much planned for you already, and I hardly can wait to get the message out to you and get you involved. From field trips to educational workshops to guest speakers to gallery shows, I'm planning a very big year for the members of the Virginia Beach Photography Club. But I still need your help!
Create your own VBPC Masthead Logo
The images that you see at the top of this page were created by members of the VBPC, just like you! Do you have a picture that exemplifies the siprit of Hampton Roads? Do you have a somewhat recent version of photoshop? If you answered "Yes" to both of those questions, then you should be able to create your own masthead image that can be added to our rotating pool of images. Click here for a complete tutorial and sample file to get started.
Chincoteague Pony Swim 2008
2-hour Photographer's boat ride!
Experience a unique and up-close view of the ponies of Chinconteague on their return trip to Assateague. Over 100 horses make the return trip, and they can often be seen frollicking in the sand once back on shore.
President's Corner for January 2008
I would like to begin my first message of the new year by saying “THANK YOU” to all of the wonderful members of this club. Many of you have been in touch with either another Board member or myself, with comments and suggestions. We really do want to know what you want, so keep the comments coming! The Board and I look forward both to continuing with initiatives already established, as well as developing and implementing new programs to take the Club forward in 2008.
