Membership is open to anyone with an interest in photography. The annual dues for club membership are $30. Checks should be made payable to the Virginia Beach Photography Club.

The meetings for the Virginia Beach Photography Club are usually held the first Tuesday of every month at the:

Meetings begin at 7:30 pm and are over at 9:00. Each meeting consists of a presentation and a competition. Club members may enter photographs or slides for competition or just bring in photographs to share. Anyone who chooses to enter the competition is asked to arrive earlier than 7:30 to log in their entries. All club members are eligible and encouraged to participate in the competition judging.
Presentations by scheduled speakers are on photography related subjects usually ending with a question and answer period. After the presentation, the results of the competition judging are announced and time allowing all entries are critiqued.
Workshops, field trips, photography contests, photography courses and exhibits are announced in the monthly Newsletter as well as at the monthly meetings.
We welcome any suggestions that the membership has on improving the club. Our goal is to make the club what the members want it to be.
Membership has its privileges! Join and you will receive upload access to our online photo gallery, at no additional cost! You will also be able to submit photos in the monthly competitions, as well as vote in those competitions. There are also some member's only forums that are available once you are a paying member.
