The VBPC is a group of people who share a common interest in photography. Our Mission Statement reads:
The Virginia Beach Photography Club explores the connection between the eye, the camera, and the spirit, by fostering and encouraging growth of artistic vision and technical knowledge. The Club provides an informal, friendly, and supportive environment for photographers at all levels and with interest in all types of photographic imagery. The Club offers a means for members to share ideas and knowledge with each other and to promote an interest in photography throughout the community, through exhibitions and public events. Club activities offer a means to share ideas and knowledge through monthly meetings, guest speakers, member participation, monthly competition, critiquing of work and technique, field trips, and public photographic activities and projects that kindle growth and friendships through artistic vision of photographic imagery.
The Club membership has a wide variety of experience. The current membership has a good mix of novice, advanced amateurs and even a few professional photographers.
The Club meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m.

The Club holds a monthly competition in four categories, Slides, Color Prints, B&W and Digitally Altered. All entries must be submitted by 7:15 p.m. Sorry, competitions are for members only.
Annual membership is $30. You may pay via PayPal here.
Click on the "My Account" link near the bottom of the left hand menu, then click on the "Edit" tab in the upper right corner. You can change your password on that screen.
The short answer is click on the "Edit" link at the bottom of your album. If you need more detail than that, we have posted a tutorial here.
1. Go to the User Control Panel (Link is in upper righthand corner, just below the picture at the top of the page.
2. Go to Board Preferences.
3. Go to Edit Display Options
4. Click on the "Yes" option for "Display Signatures" Back to the Top
Actually, both are correct. If you type vbpc.org in your browser address bar, you will see that it will change to the much longer vabeachphotoclub.org. So, if you want to tell someone about our site, tell them to go to vbpc.org. The internet will take care of the rest!
